Can you upgrade a panel in a Brickell or Sunny Isles condo unit?

Yes, with the caveat that condo unit panel upgrades require the association to approve any work touching common electrical infrastructure (riser, sub-feeds, common house panel). We coordinate the scope letter with property management before the permit is pulled, schedule the FPL or building disconnect during the association-approved window, and document the work for the association engineer of record.

How long is the home without power?

Typically 4–8 hours during the FPL service-disconnect window. We schedule the cutover for a single business day and stage the new equipment so re-energization happens the same afternoon.

Do I need a 200-amp or 400-amp service?
